Lindsey Butler, a junior at Virginia Tech, placed second in the women's 800 meters in 2:04.55 at Camel City Elite at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Butler, the reigning NCAA Division 1 indoor 800 champion, competed in the event for the first time in 330 days after capturing the title in March at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala., after being sidelined for the entire spring outdoor season with a stress fracture in her right foot. Butler has an adjusted mark of 2:03.13 based on the flat track conversion at JDL Fast Track.
