Virginia Tech junior Julia Fixsen won the women's pole vault title with a first-attempt clearance of 14-7.25 (4.45m) at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Nastassja Campbell of Washington also cleared 14-7.25, but made the height on her third opportunity to secure a runner-up finish.
